Daria Erdmann, LMHC, NCC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, MH 14575

Daria Erdmann is a licensed psychotherapist who provides individually tailored counseling to teens, adults, and couples.  After obtaining a master’s degree in religion from Australian Catholic University, she worked for years in church ministry and administration, engaged with people of all ages from preschoolers up to seniors, and eventually transitioned into nonprofit management.  She left that career to earn her master’s degree in mental health counseling at Alliance Graduate School of Counseling in NY.  Daria joined Cove Counseling and started her private practice in 2015, previously working at an acute care inpatient psychiatric center, an outpatient agency, and an intensive-outpatient agency.

Daria aims to meet clients at their point of pain or struggle and to assist them in determining what wellness will look like for them and to help them achieve their goals.  Her desire is to help clients accept what they cannot change or avoid, leverage their own strengths to meet their challenges and grow, and gain freedom from what currently controls them.

Her areas of specialty include:  adjustment to life changes, anger and conflict management, coping with trauma, dealing with grief and loss, low self-esteem issues, managing moods (anxiety, depression, fears), relationship issues (betrayal, marital, sexual), spiritual development and growth, and stress management.  She is trained in integrating Christian values and worldview into the counseling process for those who desire that approach.

Daria is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-I), and a member of the American Counseling Association.
